For those of you who didn’t know. Google Books has put up issues from Black Belt Magazine. From what I can tell they date back to 1962! They don’t have the latest issues but it looks like it goes all the way up to 2004!
The really cool part? It’s searchable!
You can Browse the magazines -HERE It’s a little confusing at first because it lists them by date.
I searched for the term “Aikido” and the earliest mention I could find was 1964
BlackBelt MagazineJuly 1964 -Image is Linked to Article.
It’s a article all about the Yoshinkai Aikido Institute
